We are scheduled to have an easy walking tour in Lan Su Chinese Garden and lunch in Bridgeport on the way back to Wilsonville High School. This garden is a botanical treasure with several unusual plants with Chinese origin and it should be in good bloom this time of year.
We are taking a bus to Lan Su. You need to signup. We will be picking us up at the high school at 9:15 am so that we miss the heat of the day and we are the first tour before the garden opens to the public. Lunch is in Bridgeport at PF Changs where we have a section in the front of the restaurant to eat together and socialize. We will be back at the high school at 1:30 pm. The weather could be in the 80’s and hopefully not as muggy as now, although the garden is quite comfortable with all the plantings and the protection of the walls.

Judy Alleruzzo will be speaking to our group. Many of you already know her as one of the co-hosts of Garden Time. She is also the house plant buyer for Al’s. She will be talking about new colors and trends and how Al’s decides what they want to have in the stores. As always Al’s has plenty of new varieties along with favorite old standbys. Judy is a great presenter and wonderful resource for all things in the garden.
